windows won't self close or open when you open & close door
I have 2003 boxster the windows are suppose to to go down when you touch the door handle and go up when you close the door. The windows work fine with control buttons. The previous owner had just installed a new battery prior to me buying it.Would that be my problem?

Is it both doors or just one of them? I had a 2003 Boxster S and the window regulator went out on me just before I recently traded it. I also changed the battery before I traded it, and that did not impact the automatic window opening and closing with the doors.

If you have disconnected the battery for any reason there is a procedure for resetting the windows. Seems like it's really simple. Roll all the way up, then hold button in up position for a 5 count or something like that.
