I would have thought that today's official release in Geneva would have attracted a little chatter !!
Any thoughts ??

Try this one then.... you are sure tough to please.... fyi I prefer manual in any sport car myself but I feel that PDK's ,etc. are here to stay. Looks like the opinions are mixed on the 7sp manual (PDK derived) in the 911 but as it is not available in the Boxster I will settle for the 6sp.

No problem. Hope to have one by June/July in Sarasota.... might be in Lutz/ Land of Lakes area this summer as my girl is from there and I will be able to see for myself how it runs. Sunshine Skyway with top down....

Chris Harris did a great video review, explaining a lot of good details, regarding his thoughts on the steering, and the traditional 6 speed vs. apparently PDK-derived 7 speed.

I was hoping that the new Boxster S was going to be good. This review has me sold. I just leased a new 991 with PDK. At some point, I'm going to have both a 991 PDK and Boxster S with 6 Speed manual. Two totally different driving experiences. Variety is the spice of life.
And my wife and I can go out on drives together, each in one of the two cars. We used to do that when I had a bunch of cars before the recession. We don't have that any more, but should within the next couple of years.
