Ok,
Any input as to why no one is bidding on this 2001 triple black Boxster?

Yeah, but still, that is one hell of a price for a 2001 with 49,500 miles!
Sadly, it is the EXACT car, color, year and low mileage I am looking for...
But I am a Realtor, and right now is not the best of times .... enough said...

Well, it also said the reserve hadn't been met. The reserve is probably market price, as the dealer isn't going to sell it for a loss like a sufficiently motivated private individual might.

nobody has $$ to buy anything now, thus the price drop.

Just to pick your/everybody's brain, what would you consider a "good deal" on this car?
I mean an amount that I could go into this dealership for this exact car and say I will pay you this much and they wouldn't like it, but would take it...
Just asking your OPINION...

I'm still convinced that eBay buyers for some cars (like the Boxster) are just looking for real bargains, and serious Boxster shoppers will look elsewhere. Couple that with the state of the economy and everybody and their mother saying Boxsters are "worthless" anymore and I can't image trying to sell one now.
I'm a little surprised at the "it's a toy and toys aren't selling right now" mentality, only because Boxsters make excellent daily drivers, and even good winter drivers, so I see them as much more than a toy. $12k...$14k...$16k...it's a lot of car for the money. If it's what you want, make an offer. If you buy it and think you've overpaid for it, just don't tell "us" and we'll just vicariously enjoy Boxster ownership with you.
