Default Need cage ideas for 986

I recently got a new hardtop for my car and the Stable Energies bolt-in cage won't work with it. I've ditched the cage and now I'd like to consider a weld in cage or another bolt-in. Any ideas and hopefully pics of Boxster cages? Also, any recommendations for fabricators in the SoCal area?

Thanks,

Bro

It's a Zeintop made by Zeintec. http://www.zeintec-usa.com/AboutUs.htm

And yes, you can use the trunk.

would you care to explain the dent in the right rear bumper. Surely there's a good story with it.

Went to a friend's 50th birthday party at Pebble Beach, ended up at a beach condo playing poker until o'dark thirty, in the process of leaving I backed into a 18" tall wooden post that I couldn't see. Not much of a story, but it's more believable than saying Lindsay Lohan ran into me on Ventura Blvd.

yeah, i can buy that.

the previous owner of my car backed into a hitch receiver and left a nice little square indention just to the right of the right bumper insert.

it sucks.

OK. After looking at the cage in Insite's post, How important (or not) is it to use the rear stock mounting points vs tying the cage to the shock towers?
