Post boxsters a girl car?

ok i'm not trying to put boxsters down (they are very cool!!!) also i'm not trying to put women down (they are very cool!!!lol) but in my neck of the woods it seems all the boxsters are driven by women, I was just wondering if this was the case other places; or if anyone knew a reason why there are so many women boxster drivers around where i live.

Hey guess what ... Women drive !! Imagine that.

Ever see a woman pull up on a Harley. I have all the time yet nobody asks if a Harley is a girls bike.

I see women drive Suburbans and Tahoes all the time. Are these beasts girls cars?

What about the several hotties I see at the club that drive a 996 cab's and the one that drives a 512 Ferrari and the half dozen or so that drive new Vettes. Are these girls cars too?

Your question is moronic. Get off this board with that kind of worthless question. Get to work save some money and buy ANY Porsche before you come back.

I don't see any reason to be such an *******, unless you actually are.

The guy was just asking a question.

Hey. Call em like I see em.

Just get a little PO'ed when someone shows up not owning anything from stuttgart and starts things by popping off such a dumb question.

Wink

I think it was the venom in your reply. If someone told me I drove a girl's car then I would laugh. Not bite his head off giving him the idea that possibly 'truth hurts'.....

All I know is that it may or may not be a girls car, but it sure is slow ( i'm talking about the regular boxter Not the "s" model) I was driving my 951 on peninsula and this guy (he thought he was king of the world smoking a cigar in a porsche! what kind of porsche enthusiast is that?) tailgates me and goes around me as if he could burn me in a race ( he had an aftermarket exhaust). We'll to make a long story short, He gets in front, is pulling the car to the max ( let me give you this, The sound is unbelievable), and I'm right up his tail (shifting at 4500 to 5000 rpm's). Then I get in front and pull about 8-9 car lengths on him. He get's all mad and pulls up next to me, And says " do you want me to get my weekend car?" with an attitude. I asked what kind it was, "It's a 911 convertible" WOW, I'm sure I'll lose to that ( I probably would, but I'd put up a much better fight than any boxter ever would). And he cuts me off! what a sore loser. i'm not trying to dis on the boxter. It's a great car, the handling is out of this world, but the boxter's got another thing coming if he thinks he can compete with a turbocharged porsche.

How uncouth. I was merely suggesting that you maybe should have reacted differently to avoid further abuse. Your wife really shouldn't smoke, it is bad for her. And potentially dangerous when driving.

But seeing as you are going to insist on being derogatory....If I had spent as much money as you have on your cabriolet, then neither your wife or you would smoke anything even close to my car.

Converting a 2.5 Boxster to a 3.4 Boxster is a bargain. Much faster and less than a new Boxster S. Faster and much much less than a 996 cab.

I do of course see your point. Everything is relative. Good luck with giving up smoking.

$ for $, or £ for £, a 964 C2 will be faster than a Boxster.
A boxster S and a 996 cab are hardly fast cars relatively - (I know for a fact a Boxster S is much slower than my C2)and porsche don`t as yet make a Boxster 3.4 so ,perhaps it would be fairer to compare a modded Boxster with a modded C2.
Boxsters are good cars but they are slow for the money and are difficult and expensive to get any real HP - which is why I didn`t buy one.
If a boxster had 300+ hp I wouldn`t give a toss if someone else thought it was a girls car!

PS My wifes hairdresser has one <img src="graemlins/icon107.gif" border="0" alt="[icon107]" />
