maybe you can beat some 951's but then there are plenty of 914 that could do just the same to you.
And Gee I must say if you can beat all the 951s then i guess your winning all your races right?
oh and HAH! your time slip is no big deal Guys in 951s are running 12.9 with just an maf and chips.
plus plenty of us are capable of beating z06's some im not too impressed.

But as i originally said what makes a car is more than just its preformance.
why dont you and the 1st house wives club go shopping, and try and fill up your egos?

Oh yeah, one more thing....
If performance doesn't make the car, then what the hell does? A paint job? Perhaps a body kit and a jumbo-jet sized GT wing? This isn't HONDA we're talking about here!

Well, I don't know why 3,4 has such an attitude. It sounds like he's jealous. Anyway, as M danger has said, 951's do run 12.9 with just a maf and chips. I wonder if It had an after market turbo? or an exhaust? HMMMM. Like I said, let the boxster owners have their fun. let them dream....

Thanks for confirming that my Boxster S is running around a 12.8 1/4 mile, since it was faster than the modified 951 I faced at the track recently, both in corners and in straights.
I've simply got to get the car out to the track for a 1/4 mile run sometime and get a timeslip for it...
Oh and approaching 170 is certainly possible...

Boxster 3.4, Just curious, How much hp does your boxster have? It sounds really fast. Is it over the four hundred horsepower mark? I doubt it.

Mine has 450 to the wheels....a 951. And I do hit the trasmission limited 193MPH on a regular basis. All this for less than you paid for your precious Boxter S.

It is OBVIOUS you aren't here to say anything nice, only here to SLAM the Boxster and PROMOTE your car.
I don't care if you want to promote your car, but hey McFly, guess what, there is a FORUM for your car already. Go post over there where someone CARES. We don't.

Your car ONLY has 450 HP? And you had to upgrade your Turbo to get that? My naturally aspirated Oldsmobile has more HP, imagine if I stuck a Turbo on it. Why don't you go down to your local 7-11, pop the hood and hang out with the other "Rice Boys" in their Honda Civic "Type R's" and Acura Integras? That's the level of mentality that you are displaying here.
I could easily whip out any number of cars that cost less than yours and are faster, but do I sit here and post about it? No, why? because it is OFF TOPIC

Hey....
We all enjoy Porsches here, right? It isn't like we drive Hondas or Stang 5.0s. Everybody has different tastes. Call the boxster whatever you want; I'll call it badass. But just because I can thoroughly appreciate the Boxster does not mean I hate other porsches. I love ALL porsches, just as an enthusiast should.

Sorry for the OT, but:
Ken, I finally saw your website. Your car is pretty badass, but is that the hardtop from Porsche? I have a buddy who got one from the dealership for his silver Boxster and claims he has some leakage issues. It also appears as if it doesn't fit right because of those black gaps filled with rubber where it meets with the rear deck. Lastly, it is VERY heavy, which just kind of cancels out his mild mods. Any comments or similar problems? If so, how did you address them?
