Cool Ralphie makes reference to the Boxster being a Girlie car!

This argument has taken an ugly turn and it now involves members of an organized crime family based out of New Jersey. Soprano family capo, "Ralphie", mention the word "panties" when replying to a comment given by a friend of Anthony Jr.s at the Soprano Sunday night dinner last night.

When Ralphie mention the fact that he used blow the doors off of Porsches in the 70's on his motorcycle, the young friend told Ralphie that he could not beat his father's Boxster. Ralphie replied something to the effect that the Boxster is a Porsche with panties or that the dad should check his panties or something like that.(I don't remember the actual comment that he said but I do know he made reference to panties and it was in reference to the boxster being a girlie car).

I hope others caught the show last night (best show on TV). Anyway, I thought it was funny, especially in light of a particular thread on this board. I couldn't disagree more with Ralphie, and I hope he gets "popped" for making the comment, but there you have it, even the Sopranos have made mention of the Boxster being a girlie car and likewise they can add themselves to the list of people without a clue!

Please, this is not a post to start another flame war, just a post to relay what I heard on the Sopranos last night.

Who are these Soprano's anyway? Some barber shop quartet used for special occasions by the Corleones? Isn't Ralphie the boy that was going to "shoot his eye out" in The Christmas Story (or was it his little brother, you know, the one that had to roll himself to school because he had fallen over in his snow suit)? "Ralphie"? Sounds he (she?) is wearing panties.

Actually, I did try to watch The Supremes... I mean Soprano's once. Is this what the modern Coso Nostra is supposed to be like? I think Vito would be very dissappointed to realize his family had turned into Ralphies.

"Ralphie". What kind of name is that for a tuff guy anyway? What ever happended to the cool names like Vito, Luca, and Sonny?

(DISCLAIMER: The comments above are satirical and funny as well as down right friendly. In no way is the use of the term "baber quartet" immature or flamacious in any way. BTW, not affiliated just a happy customer) [Disclaimer quote adapted from Christer's]

Thou shalt always check under thy seat for forgotten underwear...so says Howard Stern king of all media (yet another good movie in which his wife found his own underwear under the car seat...it was wet from him taking a jacuzzi tub with a B movie starlet. Being too afraid to soak naked in the tub, he went in with his underwear on...and brought along his sidekick Fred Norris too!)

Is this stuff off topic or what?

Yet another classic movie! Who could forget Ralphie's trip down the christmas slide at the department store..."You'll shoot your eye out kid...Ho!Ho!Ho! boot to the head and down he goes. And just so we stay semi on topic for cars, Ralphie learned quickly that a liberal use of cuss words is standard fare when changing a tire on the side of the road..."It was soap poisoning, GASP GASP!" <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" />

Yes! Classic BLK. I love that flick.

The only lines I remember from the flick are "You'll shoot your eye out." And "I double dog dare you!" Which of course meant you could *never* refuse the dare.

On the topic of panties. How about the lamp that stood proud in the front window... for a while anyway.

HAHA!!!! One of the best parts of the movie, the Lamp! I have always kept my eye out for one of those beauties. To park that baby in my "office" would be a dream. Ahh, now I can hardly wait for the christmas movie season to begin!
