We're having cold weather, but so far avoiding the snow. Still, I'm leaving the winter tires on until the weekend...just in case!

It's been so long since I bought new wheels and tires, I almost forgot how cool the car is going to look!

 

what dealership decided to exercise this hefty option? Does a rebuilt engine put your odometer back at zero with the DMV?

 

Joseph Northland Porsche here in Cinci, OH. No, there is still mileage on the car, so a "new" motor only matters to...well, me. (..or the next buyer if I have to sell this car.)

You ain't kidding! We went ahead and changed the wheels today despite the temps still in the 40s. I now have a '99 Forester to drive in bad weather, so I figured we're safe with the Boxster.

Thank Ray. I went with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A "Pole Position" tires (the sizes ellude me at the moment).

They're very highly rated and just a little bit cheaper than any Michelin or Pirelli or Yokohama comparible tire. First impressions are good, but I've barely driven on them...
