Default Ready for winter...

As much as I hated to (because I hate winter), I swapped my wheels/tires today for the winter ones (Dunlop Wintersport M3s). It feels like a luxury car (softer ride) and look totally different!

I've got snow tires as well on my '00 S, but it's so unbelievably cold here, I won't even start my Boxster. April needs to hurry up and get here.

Between the wheels bolts and the nooks they're buried in, those summer wheels look like a major pain in the ***. Very handsome though. At least winter brings relief from having to clean them.

They are a major pain in the *** to clean! So much so that I'll be selling them in the spring. I'll probably go back to 17s as well...those 18s are a bit harsh. I could be that I need new front tires, too.

Julie actually loves to be involved. Of course, I think she was also procrastinating doing her homework. (...that sounds so wierd...but she works full and is getting her degree.)

LOL! On the other side, I have three long foam tubes (I think they're made for playing in swimming pools?) screwed to the wall to protect that door. I don't have a good pic of that, but you can kinda see them just over Julie's hood in this one...
