Thats frustrating!
was it a solid car? That seems like a great price regardless of miles.
Good luck!

Congrats.
Are you Alex911S on Audiworld?
I'm on there as ELUSIVE as well.
We have similar cars.

Likewise...
The Boxster S is a great great car. It does so many things just right. There are a few things that I wish that I could pull out of the Audi and put into the Boxster though:

1) The steering wheel. In my opinion the new Audi steering wheel is about perfect. It's a tad ugly but as far as feel goes for driving and controlling the audio functions it works very well.
2) Satelite Radio through the stock head unit. Love that feature.
3) CD Changer in the stock head unit.

The Boxster and the A4 Avant really work out well as a driving pair for me. I like the turbo of the Audi but much prefer the porsche engine. it just has more torque across the board. I feel like I'm shifting far more in the Audi to generate power.

Tell us more about the Boxster that you bought.

thanks marc.... just got lucky it was a dealer that I know, and since it's over the 50K warranty, it's better to put up the money to CPO it.. piece of mind till 100k miles Well, i'm sure i'll have some questions later...I also just joined the 986forum, same login, but i havent posted..

Where was this car advertised? Was it a dealer in the S.F. area? If so, let me know--there might be some bait and switch going on. I saw an '00 Boxster S advertised for less than $21K, but was told that it was an advertising error.

TIA.
