I used H&R on my 01. handling at the track is wonderfull. daily ride stiff but acceptible and the look is how it should have looked all along.

I fitted 30mm [1, 1/4 " ?] lower Eibachs to my 03 "S"
Handling is as you would expect - tangibly better.

The ride quality passed the all important "wife test" with flying colours.
Infact, the progressive rate of the Eibachs even surprised me.
The have a subtely to their ride that I have not found with H&R, Fulcrum or Kings springs.

Oh, and 30mm is too low
I am forever ripping off the little plastic bits underneath
25mm would be perfect.

ROW 030 if you want the best track set up next to fully adjustable springs. No offense to Eibach or H&R owners but your alignments will be out of spec with those springs and cause premature tire wear. It's all trade-offs, just make sure you make an informed decision. ROW 030 install in the Pictorials section at http://www.smiley.net/boxster/

Good point !
....but the reality has not been as bad as you may think.
The lowered coils added some negative camber, it was not a lot.
I actually added more to the front.

The front tires are now 13 500 mls old - with good even wear.
I strip and change the tires left to right at 5 000 mls.

As you say, it is all about trade offs.

No, you want to use both the shocks and springs from the ROW 030, don't mix US and European versions. I think there are pics of the drop on my old website, seems like it was around an inch, maybe a little less.
