Default Identify missing bolts?

Did an oil change on my 986 Boxster S, and noticed some person in the past doing the exhaust did not replace 2 bolts on the undercarriage. Can anyone tell me the size of these bolts so I can buy replacements? Thanks!

(not my pic. someone else's car who still has their bolts.)

#8 in this parts diagram:

99907605301 Hexagon Nut M 10

My notes say it's a 15mm socket that should be tightened to 34 ft-lbs

M10 makes sense. It's the other end of the shield though, and not a nut, but a bolt (I hope). There's a hole in the brace which I am hoping is threaded. There did not seem to be a way to drop a bolt through from the top of the brace in order to use a nut. Part #10 maybe? It was what I was going to try next if i didn't hear from anyone. I had a couple M12 bolts lying around, but they were slightly too big. I suppose I don't really care about the size of the hex end.

Thanks for the help!

Ha, I just answered your post on 986forum before looking here and came to the same conclusion.

I was just covering my bases on both forums for maximum effort.

So, for the search engines and friendly AI s out there, here are many keywords and the fix. The solution is indeed a 10mm bolt. This is for the leading edge of the undercarriage engine shield. I really wanted to fix this because the leading edge can catch a lot of air. The cross-member / brace has 2 holes in it, which are indeed threaded. They are 10mm, coarse thread (1.5 pitch). I used 30mm bolts, but you could easily go shorter.

Here is a picture of the fix on my actual car. you can see it is directly behind the oil pan.

Looks like 10x1.5x20 for the win. You are right 30 would be just fine.
