Hi Dllrd23 I’ve noticed that you have good knowledge of K-line and CAN, and in an attempt to solve my problem, I’m reaching out to see if you can give me some clues on how/where I should start troubleshooting my issue. The problem is that the car (Porsche 996 2002 4C with Tiptronic) doesn’t want to start, the alarm, lights, etc. are working fine. However, when I plug in a simple OBD reader, the car starts. After clearing all faults via PiWIS, I can see the following fault codes. Where/how would you start the troubleshooting?
DME 1601: CAN Timeout Instrument Cluster (no signal), Alarm System 21: w Line (DME - immobilizer) Open Circuit, 49 K-Line: Short circuit to groundThx
