Personally I don't use one source, I shop around. My favorites are Pelican (almost all Porsche parts and a choice of suppliers for many parts) and Rockautp (good prices for more popular parts... they don't specialise in Porsche). Sometimes Paragon and Autoatlanta. There are lots of others.
Don't forget Porsche. For parts that only come from Porsche (like the tensioner chain pads that I just bought) with shipping, wait-time and currency exchange rates (if you are in Canada) Porsche is compétitive. Also for small parts like nuts and bolts, especially if you need them right now. Where I live parts that are not in stock locally take 2 days fo come from Toronto... unless they have to come from Germany, but that is more often for 928 parts.
And check out 986forum.com, usually there is more traffic there than here... I am active on both.

Congrats on your new purchase!!

I've been a Paragon Products customer (not exclusively) for >20 years and have never been disappointed.

For some generic items Rock Auto is probably the cheapest option.

For dealer-only parts (if Paragon cannot get them) I use Suncoast.

Pelican, FCP Euro, AutohausAZ, along with Paragon are consistent but I have found Sunset Porsche in Oregon to be very competitive on items you normally think the independent firms would be lower.

FCP euro by far! Lifetime free replacement on every part which is a godsend for Boxsters as there are so many parts on these cars which wear out, die, or just need replacing in order to save the car from imploding/exploding/deploding/or any kind of -ploding. And they usually have the best price although their prices do change from day to day so it's worth checking prices over time if you don't need the parts in a hurry. Also, if you add items to your cart and don't buy them, they will email you with a 5% discount. The downsides to FCP are that sometimes they won't have an item and they don't have as many aftermarket items and focus mostly on OEM parts. However, they do carry LN Engineering.
You do have to send the old parts back but a small nuisance considering it'll be the last waterpump, AOS, or clutch you'll ever pay for again!

I've been at this for years as a DIY'r on various Porsches:

Pelican is the best and fastest, and has the most in stock w/ the most choices, but not the least expensive.

FCP has the warranty thing but they tend to be slow to ship orders out in my experience, FCP also sometimes has poor brand choices (like only crappy China stuff with no OEM equivalent options).

Sunset Porsche has been the cheapest for dealership parts, but they are also slow to ship.

AutoAtlanta seems to be able to get obscure parts that other dealerships and Pelican says are not available, often very slowly though.

I've also had good luck recently w/ Porsche Delaware they seem to be similar pricing to Sunset Porsche but ship much more quickly.

If you are searching a specific part number often there are many Porsche dealers selling extra parts sitting on their shelves on Ebay, I have found some great deals doing this and OEM stuff.

Big picture for me has been that the cheapest places are the slowest to work with. I pay a bit more for Pelican b/c they turn orders around faster than anyone including OEM Porsche stuff.
Get yourself an OEM parts catalog and just google each part number you need. You will find many choices and many prices. Porsche is great that way, much easier than other automakers with regard to an excellent parts catalog and a part number for literally everything.

When shopping the above listed vendors it is imperative to also check what they charge for shipping. I have found some really wide variance in shipping that can make one vendor with a slightly higher initial cost the cheapest to purchase.

I have used both Porsche of Delaware, and Porsche of Burlingame.

delawareporscheparts.com

Burlingame is @ europeanoempartsdirect.com

Both offer significant discounts off of list prices, both differ in turnaround time for shipping. I have lately been dealing directly with my local Pcar dealer, as they have again started aggressively price matching anything I can find on line. No shipping cost, most things hit in 1-2 days…sales tax naturally.

Delaware and Burlingame have served me well indeed over the year’s.

I do use FCP for many small items, but their shipping has gotten much slower. They’re literally 4 hours away from me, but it can take up to 4-5 days to still get things. That isn’t an issue for things I stock, like oil/air/cabin filters, crush washers, etc.
