For braking purposes, the rear engine design is by far the best (hence, why 911's are raced and Boxsters are NOT). Granted, the huge V10 in the Carrera GT is "mid-engine", and a great car, I'd take the same BHP 911 over a 986 3.6 any day on the track. The boxster is a very fun car, but very poorly made (for track use). Mine simply fell apart.

Hey agent, did you ever think it was YOUR Boxster that feel apart on the track. Many people run their Boxster HARD on the track with no problems.
