Hey all , I've recently purchased an '03 986 S tiptronic . There are quite a few mods I'd like to make and helped & inspired in no small way thanks to people's contributions here , so cheers..

I am having difficulty finding a savannah tan manual steering wheel to use as the base for my paddle shift mod , so I thought I might keep the tip wheel , add the paddles and reassign the tip buttons to other functions (volume, track change etc) on the headunit .

Sooo - Does anyone know whether its possible to run more 'channels' through the steering wheel clockspring arrangement? the nearest info I could find was here - https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...ng-photos.html

I'm not sure how many extra wires I'd like to run, maybe if I did just volume it would be two, and track or station preset also - maybe four.
