TSCC Autocross @ Pungo, Virginia yesterday. Coned out my two fastest runs; my fastest clean run was a full second slower, which was really disappointing.

Virginia Autocross Championship. Damned cones again! Nice having a fast flowing course for a change

Greg
I was in San Diego one summer and bummed a codrive off of a miata at that site. I still don't like how the club basically sets up a road course with cones lining the whole thing, but it is fun to have that huge lot with all of the elevation changes!

Here are a few runs from the Buccaneer Region in Jacksonville, FL at the Whitehouse OLF. The car is in "tire A Stock" on BFG KDW2 street tires and got 3rd raw, FTPAX.

I shot this with a GoPro HD set on 1080 @ 30fps with the open back case.
My car has the muffler bypass pipes installed in the video.

The white helmet is my girlfriend Jackie, she get 10th pax. The other one is me. We usually ride with each other during the runs, hence some of my yelling while driving lol.

First time in 6 years that the car has been out of the neighborhood, and my very first time driving autocross. Video is of my five runs - need to tweak suspension to deal with the squat.

Nice video...I like the extra graphics. What's the source of those graphics?

The data is from Trackmaster on my Android phone. The data is imported into Race2Chrono to produce the overlay. The foot cam is a $6 key fob camera from ebay

SCCA autocross. One scary moment: road drops out from under the car in the middle of a slalom, combined with throttle and a bit too much steering input. Some water on the surface also, and the back end just really didn't want to stick in the morning.

Saturday.

Sunday.

Not as fast as I'd like to be. Both courses were pretty heavy HP courses, with SSM cars taking the top 3 PAX spots on Sunday. 9th and 11th in PAX, 5th and 7th if I use a street tire multiplier. I need more Evo schools.

I have Trackmaster, but need a good phone mount, and I suspect a high-res GPS would help. I was going to use RaceRender 2 for overlays. The second video is nice, and I wish my feet looked like that while racing.

Default ...super short autocross course.

Here's mine from yesterday...
...hadn't autocrossed this car for over a year.
Glad I brought it out, as the a/c between runs was very welcome!

How come we never see the 928?

Here's my in-car of the course Slantnose just posted. Was a really short course. And yeah, was nice to have AC! I was blasting mine in between runs, too:

Here two videos from my car at the PCA MEtro Autocross event at Nassau Colliseum on 8/7/11...

http://youtu.be/0S1nFkSzayo

http://youtu.be/TfdhDi4vS5o

My car is a completely stock 997.2 3.6 manual with Sports plus...

My best time was 49.0 sec when a GT3 on Hoosiers ran a very low 43, some mx-5 on hoosiers a high 44, and a old automatic Camry with a young girl driver a 60.8 sec...

This was my 2nd autocross ever with any car... I was a drag racing guy...

Quite fun!
