Do you mean NE Divisionals in Washington DC? If so there are just the normal SCCA street tire classes (ST, STS, STU, STX and STR) all of which allow certain modifications to stock trim (see rulebook for details). But the only stock stock classes will allow R tires.

Hey, that's the course that I designed at Hershey. Other than the weather, give me your feedback on the course design, registration process, timing, results, large display and any other feedback you can give to help improve the program.

Regards,
Alan

As SCCA has seen fit to exclude Boxsters from all the ST classes, that's not much of a help. I was hoping to run my otherwise BS Boxster in a paxed street tire class. SCCA officially lets this up to the regions- NE can run a paxed street tire class at their regional if they want to. I didn't know if they were or not. (Paxed street tire class is one of our most popular classes at the local clubs here.)

Failing that, I'll just sign up as A Mod and run for the hell of it, I know I'm not fast enough to be competitive, I just enjoy autocrossing

Autocrossing my stock Porsche Boxster S on street tires class at TSCC Autocross at ACU4 in Virginia Beach, VA, May 16, 2010. This was my fastest time of the day at 64.804, but I hit a cone. (My fastest clean run was 65.104) The results haven't been announced yet, so I'm not sure how I did, but I think I did pretty good.

As a shameless plug, we're going to be hosting the Virginia Autocross Championship this year August 14 & 15; it's the best patch of concrete east of Lincoln and a great chance for all you asphalt guys to come to Virginia Beach and get some concrete time in before Nats I'd LOVE to see some more fast Porsches out here.

Unhappy

Wendover NT.
We'd have done better on 6 cylinders Saturday but not enough to win XP.
First looser was OK.

The only Porsche (or semi-Porsche) in attendance

Last weekend at El Toro. Still have sound issues. I'm going to need a better camera if I'm going to keep doing this!

Dave: you need a camera with an external mic jack. I have my external mic (which was like $8) placed between my drivers seat and the door, so I get zero wind noise. Plus I can hear myself talk and even the tires squealing.
