Nice run Chris. Interesting to see the different lines a car that actually turns can take. I also love the foot cam. It is nice to see that I am not the only one who drives a car like a GoKart.

I also picked up the go-kart pedal habit in my 944...I'll have to try to put a foot-cam in now.
I don't have any vids uploaded yet but I upgraded to a GoProHD and have been very happy with the product.

Here's a cool video from our local PCA region's Porsche-Corvette Challenge

^ I enjoyed that. Do you have a vid w/o the music?? If so, I love to see that.
Cool event. I know some that might be interested for next year. What club/group and do you open it/advertise it?
TIA

Looked like a really fun run in the wet! And boy it looked wet!
But I have to admit that I'm envious you guys still have racing events going on. I miss summer already!

What's crazy is, my RA1s only have about 4/32nds of depth (4 continuous groves, no "channels")! I was amazed how much grip they actually had, except over the puddles, which isn't a shock.

I was amazed how much grip my Nittos had, until I hit a puddle and then there was NO grip. Threw some street tires on for better consistency and since it was decided that there would be no timing due to the rain, I went drifting. Both my passenger and I are instructors but I am still surprised nobody came over and told us to stop acting like hooligans. We get right proper side ways at 4:25 and drive out of it.

Why did everyone stop posting videos? Surely ya'll don't do drastic things like garage your Porsches or stop autocrossing when it gets cold??

My final and fastest autocross run at Pungo, Dec 5th, 2010, with ODR SCCA. 2004 Porsche Boxster S running BS street tire class on Dunlop Star Specs. Temps were around 40F. I'm really upset I screwed up the finish; I was only 1 tenth off 2nd place (the blue CSP miata at the start line at the end of the video) and probably would have taken him if I'd nailed it. Really happy with how well I did, though, this was one of my best finishes ever- 3rd overall, and that's on street tires in a stock class that's PAXed for r-comps. Not that street tires were a liability today, but still, good way to finish the season
If the Boxster from DC is on here- sorry I didn't have a chance to talk to you more, I'm usually much more sociable, but I was having quite a hectic morning.
Edit: I finished my post-race analysis (I go frame-by-frame in the video and extract virtual segment times) and found I lost 2 tenths by overdriving the finish vs the runs I drove it right. ARGH! The 1st place driver was codriving the blue miata and kicked all our asses his first day driving the car, but he's a really good driver, at least gives me a goal to strive for!
