mskala,

The quality on that video is amazing. Plus, its got that nice 2-axis accelerometer. It looked like you got some speed on that course. Nice run.

Since we have an airstrip, it's usually got a lot of high-speed stuff
and few tight corners. Wish we could do both but makes the courses
either impractical or unsafe. Anyway, the horsepower guys love these
Last year I made a course there, though, that had a 270 degree right
rather than 90 degree left.
Thanks,
Mark S.

I was thinking the same thing - that quality is amazing!! nice!! I think someone might have some footage of me backing up after running over a few cones.... not as clean as your video, but quite alledgedly entertaining (embarrassing for me though/kinda like when mom pulls out the super 8 diaper stuff in front of your boss)...

Nice videos! I ran in my 1st ever SCCA ProSolo autocross last weekend. Though rainy on Sunday my wife shot some video that I like. I didn't do very well but sure had fun with the 2-car mirror image course ProSolo format!

Found this thread while reading up on autox. I'll run my first one April 7.

Since I don't have a video yet, I do have a picture taken at Porschefest, Charlotte, 2006. It's not my car.,

I did my first AutoX event this past weekend with PCA Potomac Region at Bowie Baysox Stadium. I had blast. There was a huge smile glued on my face all day long. This was actually the AutoX training day. We had classroom instruction, lunch, course section practice, more classroom, and then runs on the full course. It was great! My 1989 928 S4 is in the middle of a year-long engine rebuild, but I wanted to drive. I registered and drove my 1997 Acura CL. I let it all out and it was great! The tires were squeelin' in the turns, but my times weren't too bad...... once I learned the course. I should have the 928 for the next AutoX in April. I'll have to learn to drive all over again. I'M HOOKED!!!!

I've done 4 autox events with my GT3 and I'm loving it! I've got an autox driving school this Saturday followed by three more events this month.

You can't have too much fun!

Ah, the old GT3 trick
A buddy got one last year and is autocrossing it this year. He's a better driver than I (that ain't saying much), but he's getting stomped running them MPS tiars.
He's convinced himself that he's gonna run Stock class at the Parade at SD.
Personally, I don't think he can stand gettin his *** kicked till then
