I would check with your local PCA or SCCA regions. There might also be several local clubs that sponsor events in your area.

SCCA website: http://www.scca.org/ down at the bottom right there is a small section with some links to help you find events near you.

PCA website: http://www.pca.org/ upper right hand corner under regional directory should point you in the right direction.

Tidewater Sportscar Club sponsors some local events. I think they run at either Fentress or Little Creek. They have a schedule on their website tidewatersportscarclub.com.

there's a chesapeake pca event on the 20th and 21st of march. entry is only 50 bucks. it's in Manassas, VA. you can sign up at

http://www.nccbmwcca.org/autocross/c...l#Anchor-49575

Strangely enough, I signed up through BMW CCA because I never saw any notices on the porsche sites.

Late to the thread but Tidewater SCC, Old Dominion Region SCCA are your main clubs in Tidewater.

Just up the road in Richmond you have NASA Mid Atlantic (www.nasaracing.net) and VA Motor Sport Club (www.vmsc.org)

Hope it helps-

Jon

They used to use the old air base that became the Pungo County fairgrounds back in the '60s early '70s. Had contact with John Shealley a couple of years ago and I thought they were still held there!

SCCA, Tidewater Sports Car Club, and Beachcombers Corvette Club all still run at pungo. In fact, they have an event there almost every weekend just about year-round. You can track them at www.autocross.us
