5.1 in average size theater room is plenty.

I have a large room with 7.1 but use mostly 5.1. There is very little content out there with true 7.1 and I have to admit it is superior but until they bring out more, focus on setting up the 5.1 you can always add the last 2 later.

When I'm listening to my vintage analog equipment I like 2.0! When I'm watching movies I use 5.1. My system can handle 7.1 but I think it is unneeded.
