7th Gear,
Yes, prior to the replacement hard drive from OZ the rebooting issue caused my battery to fail. I actually had the dealer replace the battery and was planning to submit as part of the lawsuit settlement which covers all associated cost up to $7500. Not sure if the lawsuit will now cover the battery and hard disk replacement as the dealer did not replace the PCM but I will submit the claim. For those of you not familiar with the lawsuit just google Porsche PCM 3.1 lawsuit settlement.
thanks
vince

Thank you to Oz for the fix! His ssd and update disc combo fixed all of my issues. Now I have mr12volt, ssd, and the latest software on my pcm. Anyone with an issue do not hesitate to reach out to him.

Hi Ozzy, how did you get the IDE version? Any specific casing or specific SSD/card to use?

The Ableconn IDE to Msata is the only one that will work

I just uploaded a North America and a Europe version of the update discs. We do charge a very small amount ($1.00) in order to help cover hosting costs.

I appreciate this but your site charges $13.45 shipping.

That is an "update" disk and not an ISO file to make a SSD.

I'll take a look and see about getting rid of that. I realize how dumb that is.

I've fixed it. Sorry about that. Obviously that was an oversight on my part when setting it up.

Hi
Where did you get the upgrade disc to go from V4.73 to V4.76?
I am having the same problems.

Sal in Marblehead.

You can download the 4.76 upgrade disk from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sV6...BXCngUn8p/view

As far as I know it's the same disk for both NA & EU spec vehicles.

Best
Oz

Default PCM 3.1 Help

I’ve been trying to message Ozzy for assistance with my 2010 Panamera 4S PCM 3.1. However, the forum doesn’t let me send messages. I’ve been a Rennlist member since 2010.

I’m hoping to purchase Ozzy’s services. If Ozzy reads this, my email is ron ‘at’ mchsi.com.

Thanks!

I guess I need to make more posts to be allowed PM privileges.

I’ve bought and sold here but mainly used the forums for info on my 2 vintage 911s. I recently bought a 2010 Panamera 4S and I’m clueless.
