There's an old saying... "HP sell cars and Tq wins races..." A 100 Lbs Tq increase is a significant amount of pulling power on top of what comes from the factory....not to mention, you're not winding the **** out of the engine to get there. No wonder you guys love this tune.

Yeah, I came from a very high horsepower Corvette... guranteed this car feels like it pulls every bit as hard as that car. Not near the horsepower as that car, but the awd and snappy torque make it feel soooooo strong. I've run a best of 6.76 @ 105 mph in the 1/8th mile, so those numbers speak for themselves as far as torque go. When I get better intercoolers and ask for more boost it'll be even more impressive. Love the Cobb tune.

A mid 10 sec 1/4 mile steet car that you could drive reliably from coast to coast with the AC and stereo on...still seems hard to believe.

Don't mean to derail the op's thread... just stating the obvious. Car is tuned and drives as stock. No matter what tune you get, you'll know if it's right because it WILL operate as though the factory intended if properly done.

Stay away from GIAC. I had their tune and could never get it running right on my car. Tried working with them to get some custom support and they had absolutely no interest in working with me. They sell an off the shelf tune which ran like crap. I took a $3k loss on that garbage. My local shop installed a Protomotive tune and I couldn't be happier. Difference was night and day, and they were very happy working with Todd Knighton from Proto until the car was running like a beast!

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions guys! Appreciate it!

I've decided to go with the Ultimate Motorwerks tune (by Kevin). A huge deciding factor was having the PDK tune as well.

Will be sure to come back and post my impression.

Stock 2012 TTS with an exhaust. With a "box" Tune from Cobb vs. Custom tuning, What are we talking about for gains? Is the PDK tuning a "Must" when tuning these cars??

Asking for a friend...
