What's the best shop to install a clear bra on my car? I damaged the lower front bumper slightly and need the clear Bra reinstalled. It was originally done at Invisabra in Carrollton, but I live west of the airport... any shops nearer to the mid cities area that do quality work?

I just have ParkPlace porsche do my clear bra. They do theirsin house and does their 918 and R inhouse.

Are you happy with the results? Did you do the whole car, or front section only?

Yes, very happy. Theyve done 3 of my cars and I will have my RS wrapped by them on my next service.

Only the whole front end, but they offered to wrap the whole car if I wanted too.

Thank you... one more question if you don't mind. Do they use 3M or expel? My car has 3M on it right now, not sure I can use a different brand, or material?!?!?

The hood, fenders, mirrors, and bumper was done by Invisabra... they use 3M. Do you think it's better to use like product to redo my bumper? I honestly have no idea if it would even matter if I use two different products, but I'm leaning towards using 3M to redo it. I've also heard I have to wait 10 days after the paint repair to get the clear bra reinstalled.

Honestly, I have cars with Xpel and 3M, dont see any difference. Whats more important for me is that they have experience applying it.

Houston is close to ParkPlace.

Hello, if you're interested in getting XPEL ULTIMATE installed, we have quite a few installers in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. Please visit: XPEL Dallas for a full list of local installers.

When you do find an installer:

- Be sure to ask for wrapped edges where possible (meaning that the film will wrap over the edge of the panel)
- Visit their shop and look at some of their installations they've completed, as certain installers may do things differently
- Exam the installation to see if the visible seams are close the edge of the body panel
- You can ask them if they've wrapped your vehicle before, some installers may have wrapped a few, some may have wrapped a hundred...it's best to find an installer you feel comfortable leaving your pride and joy with.
