ugh, 14 minutes of people talking without actually saying much of anything. Matt farah is annoying.

oh well, car sounded nice.

no chrono package? Don't see that everyday. Car sounds good. Surprised no cops sit up in those mountains.

with all the videos he makes, you think they would have some production to keep people interested as it's just Matt blabbing in the car for a while. zzzzz lol

Hmm...no chrono package, no ECU tune, and comments from MF that a 991 Carrera S is faster? Something just ain't adding up!!

Besides, no offense to the guy who "lent" his 997 for this video (especially if a rennlister)...but why in the world would you do it? I think there was a part when he went past redline...probably got some Type 1 and Type 2 overrevs in the DME now

That is my old car and the owner is here on Rennlist. The car does have Chrono package.

The current owner is a very cool guy. I don't see the harm in doing these 1 take videos, looks like he treated the car well.

I think Farah added an overrev when he claimed he couldn't see the tach and bounced it off the limiter.

farah seems like a nice enough guy but imho these videos have very very little in the way of insights or valuable points of view

You guys are so finicky .

The car is mine and we had a great time filming it. No harm in sharing with the world how awesome our toys are. These cars are meant to be driven and shared.

I met him a few times, nice guy. His videos are generally pretty decent.

Pretty sure they aren't intended to have lots of insight and valuable points. Plenty of other Youtube channels cover that. These videos are shot on GoPros and produced in a day.

Do you have a catted or catless Speedtech exhaust? You can hear those turbos spool pretty nicely.

i guess i am picky, or just old fashioned, maybe

i look at these 'video publications' as journalism... and so expect some level of news, or insight, or perspective that is thoughtful, fresh or unique... there is plenty to be drawn from driving older cars compared to newer ones, earlier gens to newer ones...

anyhow, if its just bubble gum entertainment, that's fine too, i'd just rather do the driving myself i guess, esp on angeles crest rt33

all good

We are truly lucky to own Porsches and have access to those types of roads in Cali.

I really enjoyed watching this video, probably more so because it had our exhaust on it, but anyhow, I liked it. The active suspension sounds like a great mod and very interesting technology.
