Default Engine Question

Hi

I have a 997 2009 turbo, 3,6L my engine is broken, I need a long block, Does everybody know if the 2007 long block is the same that the 2009? I found one but is 2007.

I'm pretty sure you'll have no problem replacing a 2009 with a 2007, but you should wait to hear from an expert here.

I'm curious. How is your 2009 broken?

Hope you get it back up and running soon.

The 2007 will work. What type of failure do you have? Rod?

Thanks guys, I live in Costa Rica, the people of the custom, lift the car from behind with a lifter, and broken the crank case. Then other person start the engine with no oil.....

Man that sucks to have an engine get damaged that way.. I hope everything works out

The turbo engine is the same from 2007-2009, here are a few options on 6speed:

Bright side ... You can have your pipes pinne, new plugs and coils put in.

Another option...Insist on a 2009. when they cannot find one, settle with their insurance and buy the car back. Have a crazy hp motor built.
