GT3 Throttle body?!?!?
Thoughts on the upgrade?? Does it require anything besides the throttle body?
Thank you in advance.

Will you need a y-pipe and plenum to make these effective ?

Seems like that's the consensus. With my experience on throttle body upgrade on past cars, it was useless. It's either supercharger or larger turbos as a mechanical upgrade

Thank you Kevin. Don't mess with the TB and Y pipe unless you like wasting money and enjoy headaches

Realize I am bumping an old thread, but someone pointed me to these 82mm Bosch throttle bodies on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-997-...tV~~uo&vxp=mtr
Are these $130 parts the exact same items that Suncoast and IPD are selling for nearly 3x the price (well over $300)??

I suppose its possible if it is truly a Genuine Bosch part.
However, I tried to cut corners on the "equivalent" Bosch wideband O2 sensors and they aren't the exact same..the wires a little too short. Ended up with the Porsche ones instead & returned the "equivalents."
No idea if these would be, and trying to match up Bosch part numbers is not always super easy.
