Default How wide is a 997.1 TT?

My TT is arriving soon and I am rearranging my garage. Can someone give me the measurement of how wide is the widest part of the car, probably the distance between the rear wheels.

I am looking at if it would fit my garage.

Thanks a bunch.

The specs are in your owner's manual. Don't forget the mirrors.

Width without door mirrors 72.91 in./1852 mm
Width with door mirrors 76.85 in./1952 mm

Gotta love a tight garage!

I'm about to work on fitting 4 cars into a 3 car garage. It will be tight also.

Shoe horn that TT in there. Good thing you bought a convertible, no need to use the doors :-)

Is your ceiling high enough for a lift?

Piggies in a blanket! That's tight. +1 on a lift.

This house has a low ceiling. My other house may fit a lift but it sits on a hill and scrapes off my low cars.

The pics seems like it is cramped but I was able to put my S-Class between and able still to open the door pretty wide open.

Actually if you look at the front, its still pretty wide and it is longer than you see in the pic.

But I admit, you have to be careful but have you seen storage garages of dealers? cars are parked closer that what I did. That became my inspiration. Make the most out of it. This garage would act like my storage area.

What he said!?! Amazing choices in cars BTW.

Have you looked into getting a lift? I've got a 3 car garage and still struggle to fit 3 cars on a consistent basis so im amazed by your setup.
