I think they recommend fs bc they are a dealer for fs, no flash is so minutely tuned that it only works with a certain hi flow exhaust brand. Any good hi flow aftermarket exhaust will help in reducing EGTs and should work with the evoms flash. Lots of good exhausts, pick your poison and bring aspirin.

My only concern is from research. When I was looking for parts, the fabspeed stuff seemed to be hit or miss. And when spending this much money I wouldn't gamble with hit or miss.

If I could find the popcorn smiley I'd put it up.........For some reason Fabspeed seems to get all sorts of weird rep on this forum and a certain segment just seems to have it in for them. Watch the fun begin......

Fwiw, I run an Evoms 775 kit with Fabspeed exhaust, an Evoms built motor (John Bray) and both companies have been exemplary in answering my many questions over the past several years. You can do worse......Good luck!

It doesn't take long to see why FS is not liked. I've never owned any of their stufff, nor will I ever chance it. Some might have good luck with it, but there seems to be an even larger section of people that do not. Lets not get in to their shady owners antics and videos.

As I said hit or miss. And as the other person indicated. Not worth chancing it. There are too many other vendors who have 95% good reviews to buy into the 50/50 vendor.

Tons of mixed reviews regarding fabspeed... I ran fabspeed headers on my 991C2S and they sounded glorious! However, they threw a CEL so I had to order 02 sensor spacers, which resolved the issue. You can can get a glitch with any aftermarket tuner, the same way you can get a lemon with any car maker. The important part is how that glitch, fault, or flaw is handled by that company. Fabspeed came through within a week for me. No complaints.

And I'm glad we were able to pull through for you quickly for your headers and that they sounded fantastic!

I have a Fabspeed exhaust w/ the HJS 200 cell cats. Been on there for a while...Sounds great...works great....good build quality.

I have no complaints and the price is more reasonable than some of the others that seem to gouge...

Good luck with your decision.

Thank you for considering AWE Tuning exhaust components! Our thick wall 304 stainless steel exhaust system mated with the 200 cell HJS metal core cat pipes will help you take it to the next level without any check engine lights.

We have been dealing with GIAC for well over a decade and work in tandem with them to ensure the largest amount of power is unlocked while considering safety in conjunction with our components. The power gain on just the GIAC upgrade alone is outstanding: we've seen +50hp and +66 tq on a stock Turbo S!

I'd love to talk more about getting you a solution that works for you. We have plenty of power adders for you to go with. PM me any time and I can answer any questions you may have.

Default Aftermath of Evoms Tuning 997 turbo

Hi I am kinda pissed off after spending over 3k to evoms flash the ecu on my 08' 997 turbo. its showing "check engine lights on", also lost power to the transmission after raving 7k rpm. even though it worked after I start the car again. My car has only 15k miles on it with car graphic exhaust. any solution.

Did you do a Durametric check to see what codes you got? Did you contact Evom about it?

How old are your plugs? Have they been changed (original). The misfire is most likely due to eroded plugs/gap is to wide. Coil packs might also be needed.

What he said. Classic symptoms, esp after an ecu upgrade.
