EVOMS vs GIAC / Fabspeed vs AWE Tuning??
I have a 2011 Turbos S and wold appreciate your thoughts and experiences with the EVOMS ECU flash vs GIAC flash? And then, taking it to the next level by adding either the Fabspeed exhausts and high flow cats vs a GIAC upgrade and AWE Tuning exhaust system with high flow cats.
These are industry leaders in performance upgrades. I have had great dialogue with both EVOMS and GIAC. Can you possibly go wrong with either components?
There is a reason that ECU flashes are talked about so much. We all know that there is a lot of bang for the buck to be had by theses upgrades. For many of us, it may be all we ever do or all we can ever afford. Whatever the case the topic deserves much conversation. Thanks

Don't disregard Cobb Tuning either. They are relatively new to the Porsche world but have a great, innovative solution that I and many other folks are very happy with. Their customer service is stellar too.

I wouldn't touch the fabspeed exhaust. If I were you for exhaust I'd go europipe (if you want deep burbling throaty sound), or AWE, BBI, Kline, and maybe even capristo for the more high pitch sound.
Actually quicksilver for 3200 just came out with a titanium exhaust that reuses OEM cats and tips. Sounded pretty good on their GT2 video.
As far as tune, seems you can't go wrong with FVD, EVO, GIAC, or Cobb. I would pick the one that focuses the most on reliability over absolute power gains. Also if you increase the power you probably should improve the suspension as well.
I'm a firm believer on building a complete car when increasing power.

GIAC is the only one that comes with it's own warranty. Besides that I think they are all basically the same when it comes to what variables they change to give you the extra kick. Not real rocket science. I'm going with Cobb / BBI, mostly because they can email me additional maps I can then load myself. For example a map for E85, or one for race-fuel.

Also consider 911Tuning. Markski deals with Porsche only as well. His customer support is great, and his philosophy in tuning focuses on driveability, smooth power output, reliability, and area under the curve. Not just max power output. He actually writes the tune specific to your car.
