Default Los Angeles turbo gathering?

I've forgotten who first suggested it, but I wondering what the interest is for a purely turbo car gathering somewhere in LA. It seems like there are a lot of us on the forum in the So Cal area. I was thinking of something like a weekend morning cars and coffee with maybe a drive included. I assume we could welcome turbo's of any vintage. If we opened it to all P cars we'd be competing with PCA, besides I wouldn't want to over engineer the deal. If there's sufficient interest we could figure out the where and when of the event. Any interest? Merry Christmas, Bryan

My schedule is tough these days, but it sounds like fun if the day/time/location works out.

I moved from Torrance so if you ever do a gathering in North San Diego County, I would be interested in bringing my turbo. Sounds like fun to have an all turbo gathering

I drove my turbo around town more than my GT3RS. Those low driveways and dips in the road in the South Bay were a nightmare for the RS. :-)

I'll add a post on some of the other turbo forums to see if we can scare up some 993's, 996''s etc.

Looks like we only have a few interested parties, almost no response from the other turbo forums so this may not work. I'll resurrect the idea in the spring to see if interest has increased.

Maybe we could piggyback onto an existing event/group such as Supercar Sunday or one of the PCA chapter breakfasts, and leverage their promotion and participants.
