Default My Frustration with Fabspeed - Help what do? I do?

I am taking this to the forums because I don't know what to do. Fabspeed has lost my confidence and I am extremely frustrated. I purchase my x pipe exhaust for my Turbo S - 2012 and it does not fit properly. When I ordered the exhaust it took nearly 2 months to finally get my shipment. This is of course after they charged my cc and had my money in their bank for 2 months. It took numerous calls to them to finally get them to build it. When it arrived the quality looked good but when it was installed on my car it leaked. In my opinion it is a poor design. The quick connection points leaked badly. The exhaust is about 2mm too short to seal properly. I called Evan who told me he was leaving the company and that Alex would call. It has been 2 days and no reply from Alex. I can take it to Trevtec Motorsport here in Vegas to do a custom repair and re-fab but it will not be free. I would like either to return the exhaust and get all my money back or would like to find a solution that is viable for me. So far they have not called or given me any options.

I feel bad taking this to the forums but my back is stuck against the wall... Next time I am going to Kline. After spending over 7k with Fabspeed on two exhausts I have had it with them.

Alex from Fabspeed chime in to tell me what you are prepared to do?

Streetgear,

Please refer to my current thread regarding Fabspeed (see link in my signature, below). Their communication has proved to be very sub-par. Extremely disappointing for an RL sponsor.

Evan rarely returns calls, PMs, or emails. Alex isn't a whole lot better.

For the life of me, I can't understand why Fabspeed's customer service is so poor. I can not recall ever experiencing such poor service in my entire life.

I can not believe FS are still doing this BS. Talk about destroying your own credibility.

I would dispute the charge on my CC. Don't let that window close before you can get this sorted out.

StreetGear.... Put the Catless Kline on my Turbo this month and I am never looking back. It is the most incredible exhaust and biggest bang for the buck I have ever experienced. Subtle rumble at idle...tramp on it and unleash the hounds of hell. Add an ECU tune and experience an even greater car than one could imagine!

Sounds like you have a 997.1 muffler.
I'd call Joe fabiani directly, bypass alex et al.

Where there is smoke there is usually fire.
And when it comes to Fabspeed there is a lot of smoke...

I am sorry - but I have ZERO interest in ever spending a penny with this vendor.

This is the best way forward; cancel the transaction, and take your business elsewhere.

I think we are past the smoke part with Fabspeed. They are not going to last is my prediction. Employees are leaving etc.. Just a matter of time.

you only have 90 days to dispute charges with most CC companies. Once this lapses you are on your own. Dispute immediately stating you received a product that was NOT AS DESCRIBED and are in dispute to return it for a full refund but company will not respond.

Fabspeed has been pumping crap on customers for years, I first and last dealt with them in 2004 and am amazed that they are still in business and still ripping off customers with their shoddy product and company. I hope you paid by credit card. Dispute the charges even if it's past the 90 day mark. Best of luck.
