- Ohlins Road & Track DFV Coilovers
- Ground Control Front Camber Plates
- RSS Sways & Drop Links
- RSS Rear Toe/Bump Steer Arm
- RSS Locking Plate for the eccentric
- RSS Rear "Dogbones"
The Ohlins R&Ts for the 997.1 TT just got released a couple of weeks ago, so I'm an early adopter. They sound fantastic and don't carry quite the premium that the JRZ RS1 does. The JRZs allow you to specify the spring rates, but not knowing much about it myself, I decided to trust Ohlins' judgment.
I wasn't going to do the dogbones, but I decided to go with the locking plate, which necessitated them. I'll wait to see if I feel the need for any front toe arms or lower control arms.
I was looking at the GMG parts, but they are a little more expensive than the RSS parts, and the sway specs are similar enough. I decided to keep it all in the same family. The Ground Control camber plates for the front were recommended by GMP Performance, who is also doing the install. I plan to go close to the GT2/GT3 alignment specs, with maybe slightly more camber---1.5* front, -2.0* rear -ish. Plan to leave the toe slightly in to zero. I plan to lower about 10mm--not a whole lot. My tires are flush with stock camber. I'll talk it all through with the GMP techs once we're there.
If anyone has any suggestions, then please chime in. I'll try to get some pics of the install.

I'll report once I get some time with them. We may be installing late next week.

What adjustments do you get with them? Remote mounted reservoirs?
The "Road & Track" line is Ohlins' lineup for the streets, so these aren't what most people might think of when they hear "Ohlins." I'm hoping their reputation for quality is as apparent in this line as it is in their racing products. The adjustment is similar to the JRZ RS1 in that there is one adjustment, which changes compression and rebound in whatever proportions Ohlins deemed appropriate. No remote reservoir.
I'm pretty sure that, with the fully adjustable links/arms/plates, the adjustable sways, and the adjustable coilovers, I won't be able to blame any track times on the car.
I am not used to this version of Ohlins. My experience has been with the fully adjustable ones where after installation you need a ride/suspension PhD to dial them n. And then 4 full time miniature sized men at each corner to continuously make adjustments depending on the track conditions!

Yeah, I didn't have suitable space for the miniature men in my garage, so I got the Ohlins for dummies.
