Default 997 TT market

Hi all -

Thinking about either a) trading in my 993 or b) adding one straight out to the stable. I'm wondering where the market is going with them. I am pretty surprised to see 07s into the $60's. This is a lot of car for that money but I wanted to know if where everyone's opinion is on the depreciation curve. I'm in the Northeast so probably wouldn't pick something up until next spring. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Kevin

interesting, but here in California most well kept 07s with less than 35K miles are going for ~$75K if not more. what kind of mileage, condition and location are the cars you see in the 60's?

Your best bet will be during the winter months. Spring will bring a price jump. I would just keep looking over the next 6 months and pick one up that meets all of your requirements.

I've seen very few in the 60s, and not good ones.

I paid $74k for my 08 Cab so it's a matter of looking for what u want and not rushing and it has every option besides ceramic brakes to the tune of $163k original sheet

Agree with this comment. I looked at several, in the high $60's low 70's, and let's just say you get what you pay for.

Overpriced, perhaps, but they are selling fairly briskly. A good, low mile 997.1tt won't stay on the lot more than a few weeks. Look at the Baltic one I posted on a few weeks ago, ask 89, ended up moving around 85 despite the naysayers.

To be honest I've seen a few quickly why searching but haven't done any further investigation as to condition. More importantly is where the market will be going in the next couple of years. Will they will end up anywhere different then the 996 Turbos which are now in the 40's?

I think there are several reasons the 997 won't end up where the 996 TTs are, but only time will tell.

60's well they might have a lot of miles on them but 60's is still a considerable amount of money. To me they all look the same regardless of miles. Mine has 54k and I bet it looks much better than most of the 20k models.
