2007 997TT vs 2009TT
#32
I know but that is the only way i can afford to buy a 997.2TT... they all go for over 100k with low miles....
2009 and 2010 have different engines right?
3.6 for the 2007-2009 and 3.8 for the 2010 -2013
?

OK. Can't go 12-13? No worries. Skip the 10 and 11 and go find a low miles, pristine, well cared for 09. Spend the money. It will retain its value over the years more than the '10. There you go. Join the Mezger elite.

Damn it normak you just talk BS all the time right? Do you even own a Pcar? Do you even have a driver license? Or you just watch videos on YouTube all the time?
80% of the people in this forum own a 997TT (2007-2009) and we all love this car... How do you come up with soo much BSSS?
If the 997TT was such a bad car why Porsche will certified this cars?
This is not different than the BS you were saying about EP exhausts
I'm sorry if I'm not being very polite but give me a freaking break....
Stop acting like dumb ***
First off I said FEW 2007's and I saw couple of cars here faced same issue.
Call your tuner or search for p0021 code and check links below

Again. EP exhaust is not good on 997.2tt cars
I put my money where is my mouth

Leo, that Texas car is nice, all the right options, no adaptive, but has ventilated seats which I love.

EP is not good for the 997.2TT? How do you come up to this conclusion? I can't imagine EP making a bad exhaust after making some of the best exhaust for the 996TT-s, 997TT-s

I think he's referring to the fact you can retain the stock cats (and avoid potential CELs) by using a system that just swaps the central muffler. Again, unlike the situation in the .1 where you have a 1 pc system, hence the entire system has to be changed.
GLWS either way you go.

I never hear about anyone having exhaust cels with EP... (Unless is a Catless exhaust but is different)
