I would suggest Leo just buy the EP and see for himself, but if you're expecting a loudassed exhaust, dat ain't it.
There was nothing wrong with that car, I don't know what you're talking about or implying?

Surgeons

I really find this hard to believe it... Fabspeed 2 version was very but very quiet... To the point that I didn't keep it in my car for 1 week... I sold it to another person in the forum and he is already looking for another exhaust...

I'm sure EP is not like that... I never hear anyone complaining about it or switching it for another exhaust (only you and I do agree with you exhaust are very personal) but I'm sure you can't compare EP with fabspeed...

Maybe I'm the problem but....

Techart exhaust... I like it... But it's very quiet... I think the 911tune exhaust was better...

Just like I said about the Werks air intake... I'm very glad I didn't pay too much money for this overrated products...

EP will be next for sure.

Leo, looking forward to your review of EP as you can compare it first hand to the other exhausts. Hope the long way leads you finally to exhaust heaven .

Instead of buying the EP why not find someone locally that has an EP installed so you can listen. You'll either confirm that EP is what you want or not and at least have saved a bunch of money if not. I know that's not the way you usually operate but there must be at least 1 EP in Florida you could listen to before the buying decision.

Somebody with an EP near Leo help him out!

Agree, I have EP1 and very happy with it but fear it's not what Leo wants.

I wanted the typical 'Porsche sound' and I got it but once hot it isn't 'loud'.
And honestly, I did not want an exhaust that screams 'tuned' so I am very happy.

Leo, when you get it, we can do a side by side video of our cars. I am in Miramar, Florida. I definitely want to hear it up close! Albert

in honolulu, with 07 turbo tip that i picked up last month- I've been emailing stef re the EP. He alerted me to ep2 owner here who had bought a used ep2- listened to it yesterday on his 07 6 sp with ST tune -(thanks ZeroCool- nice car !!)-

sounded perfect to me- not too loud at all- however as stef noted to me it does drone slightly between 2-2.6k --which could be issue on the tip as in auto mode it seems to be in this range way too much. When i use manual i'm normally >3K- hearing this in person is only way to tell- EP2 wasn't loud to these 65 yr old ears - if one can put up with very small amt of drone it's the one, for drone free it's EP1 according to stef. he said he'd personally get the EP1 on Tip as he's sensitive to drone, but has tip customers with EP2-
aloha

Sadly I have no 911tt exhaust to compare, but my opinion all turbo cars sound like crap.
Techart exhaust with cats seems me like stock exhaust, only noise what difference from stock was cold engine start. But after I removed cats I get quite impressive result. If I am cruising constant speed with techart exhaust it seems like stock, but after WOT and turbos come in, its very good sound(for a turbo car) especialy when you are in tunnel.

Problem is that Leo cant remove his cats for warranty reasons. Thats why he swapped out his last exhaust.
