To be Honest with you the 911tune xpipes wasn't loud in the interior at all... But it was louder in the exterior (15/ more than stock)

I read too many good things about EP... It's a must to have it for me at this point. I know Christ didn't really like it but maybe is because his exhaust wasn't good? I mean no every exhaust are the same right? Maybe you had bad luck? Is that possible?
911xpipe sounds good then if it was 15 time louder than stock on outside yet livable on the inside.

Have no idea why surgeon changed so many systems/times. Must only be issues he couldnt live with.... I do know he said his EP1 was too noisy on the outside for the racetrack which had tough noise constraints, so he put some TUV FVD on it. Maybe one day we will get the details....

Now me bad luck? Sure iv'e had some rough sailing too but now ive got the EP i havent looked back since. I wouldnt screw about with anything else now. You only need look at the cat design to see it is way ahead of the game. Plus ive heard enough others now and (to me) they are crap in comparison....but each to his own poison as they say.

15 times no 15%

Maybe he just like FDV like some people like Champion and they will buy anything from them like a power kit? Maybe HE (no you I wasn't talking about you) had a bad EP and it didn't work for him...

Tomorrow I will have the Techart install in my car.

No, the EP was just too loud at LRP on the front straight, black flagged twice, off it came. It also tended to be loud on initial start up when cold. That's really all the details involved, I wish ep made a quiet version like the 996tt.

Christ,

Too loud sounds good!

I don't think you could get a good exhaust that will add HP and is going to be just as quiet as stock...

I really hate the stock exhaust.... It sound just like an electric car....

Yes, but all the exhausts you've tried are much louder than EP, you might be disappointed if you're really expecting loud.

Ive heard the TA on a car over here already but be interesting to see how it sounds on a clip. Clips can be so hard to gauge things by imho. That last clip of the expipe sounded OK but not as hood as an xpipe i heard in the flesh ...sounded better.....can't recall the brand....think it was speedtech...something like that.

And have to agree there is something very fishy with chris's EP for it to be as quiet as he says it was. Doesn't make sense at all. Maybe its all blocked up with soot from overfuelling or some other issue. Mine has been flagged as setting off car alarms of cars parked on the street during a drive by (lol)....and even in my garage there is another car opposite me i set of pretty well every day as go slowly past it and just rev up a bit when im reversing into my space. Maybe something was wrong with his car...maybe the compression was down from so many miles which has weakened up the sound or something like that? Strange.....but there would be a reason for it for sure. I mean to say it is much the same as stock is ridiculous. My neighbours could only wish LOL!!

We have shipped several systems to Australia, so it was probably one of ours...

We offer four sound levels for the 997TT, from our 2.5 quiet to 3.0 loud.

Speed tech makes good stuff. I just installed a set of race cats on my gt3 and the fit was great, sounds amazing and John made something special for me so I could keep the mufflers I had.

I never said the EP was quiet, just the fs quiet I had was much louder, that's it!
I would suggest Leo just buy the EP and see for himself, but if you're expecting a loudassed exhaust, dat ain't it.
There was nothing wrong with that car, I don't know what you're talking about or implying?
