I'll trade ya for what's behind Door #1 for your Aerokit rear decklid/wing I know someone who needs one.

Probably never happening as my car is an original 6 spd XAF with LWBs and PCCB so I definitely want to keep that combo together!

I don't think anybody is doubting whether you have a Turbo S with red calipers installed, rather the question is if the car was built with them at the factory or installed afterwards by an owner? If factory installed then there should be a line item on the build sheet options showing that as an optional item as yellow calipers with PCCB were standard on the Turbo S I believe.

I don't think the pic shows the whole build sheet.

When I pop the above pictured VIN into VIN Analytics (https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0AD2A...92BS766384.pdf) the build sheet it lists ends at the clear tail lights as well.

I get a Site down for Maintenance at my usual VIN search place (https://admin.porschedealer.com/reports/build_sheets/),

I think the best info source is the build sticker that comes with the vehicle as there is more configuration info listed there than on the window sticker page.

Lol at this rendering into a build sheet discussion. Given the calipers on both steel and PCCB are exactly the same (aside from spacing), it's a non issue. Enjoy the car Dave.

My bad as I thought the calipers were different functionally (rather than just in color); if the same then the red calipers look better in my opinion on this red vehicle but not sure if this would effect future resale. Regardless as you say the car does look great!

Guys, not sure what i'm missing here other than a personal preference but WHY would anybody pick a GT2/3 over a 08' & Newer TURBO? Some of the GT's look just like my old 996 I had other than the headlights!

Yeah it is, I fitted it recently and highly recommend the upgrade. The paddles are so much more usable than the buttons.

interesting, it's a smaller diameter than the 997.2 wheel. Were there any issues with fitment or is it basically plug and play?
