Default Orange RS in the RS Orange thread

Just for comparison here is an authentic Orange RS in the Canepa showroom, photo taken during the recent Targa California. Beautiful RS Orange 997 Turbo Ilko, always enjoyed photos of the silver C4S that you sold recently as well.Name: RS Orange.jpg

Car feels much more planted, but the alignment helped with that as well. I had a small amount of understeer and it seems gone. In terms of comfort I could not detect any difference.

Thank you Jager! That car belongs to Rick (the owner of CIM) - pristine low mileage C4S w. factory turbo tail.

I'm used to LWFW from my previous cars and love it. The engine revs faster, and throttle response is improved, it's really impressive. It's like adding a few extra HP, although the engine output is the same. Heel toe shifting is improved as well, I was having a hard time with the DMFW, probably because I haven't owned a DMFW car in years.

i find mind blips up a little "too much" with LWFW. i still need to get used to it, but my blips surpass where the next gear needs to be... then again my stage 3 sach's clutch is a PITA to get used to as well.

Figured I'd update this thread a little... The car originally came with the standard comfort seats which I was not a fan of. So right away I started looking for a set of sport seats. Luckily I found a set of GT3RS manual sport seats with orange stitching and alcantara inserts that match my interior perfectly. They are not heated so I will be transferring over the heating elements to them from the other seats at some point. The sport seats are so much more supportive than the comfort seats! Now the biggest question is should I paint the backs orange or keep them gray...

Also it turns out that the PO switched the OEM SSK kit that was factory installed with a Gemballa one. So when the tranny was out for the new clutch I put in a GT3RS shifter and cables that I got from a Rennlister. Oh yeah, and the LWFW is gone. Too noisy for my tastes!

Here are a few pictures of what the car looks like currently. Off to Traverse City, MI on Friday for the PCA Parade with a quick stop by Niagara Falls. Figured I'd check out the US side on the way up and the Canadian side on the way back. Looking at about 1700-1800 miles round trip. Should be fun!

Very nice. Lucky score on the seats!
