Default The best exhaust for a 2007 997 TT

Hello,

What's the best option for my 2007? Power agency or babspeed? Any other ideas? I just don't wanna spend a crazy amount of money for a new exhaust system.

I will buy a used system if you have one for sale

Thank you

I would stay away from both. Search is your friend, there have been tons of threads, even recently.
Best look for a better system used as you say.

You get what you pay for. Genuine 200 cell German race cats that work and don't trip the CEL 4 years later will set you back $800 each.

Exhaust of choice is the Europipe... You can find them used once in awhile.. Go to there website and look at the Cat sizing.. Backpressure with the VNT turbochargers is a issue.

Lots of stuff out there.
I've had most mentioned and then some.
I like the euro brands right now, EP, Fvd, tubi.

The other threads on this topic are just as varied in their response as this one is likely to become. I bought a Europipe after hearing it in person and then seeing not only the quality of the exhaust but of the tools, instructions and shipping container, never mind the excellent service from Europipe with phone calls and e-mail, made me confident I made a good choice.

I found the videos on Europipes website really do quite a good job of representing what the exhaust sounds like (particularly the silver 997 turbo video). So it is worth a listen.

I was lucky enough to find a used EP1 last month for my 997.1 T that I purchased in January. I absolutely love it. Plenty of great sound with minimal to no resonance. It is worth every penny.

I have a Tubi on my 997.1 TT and it sounds really good and it looks nice (I keep the car on a lift some of the time...) But honestly, it was expensive and I am not sure if I would do it again, unless if I were to make other upgrades for more power. Tubi also installed without the need for a crowbar or other fabrications.
