Anyone with the oem front aero lip?
Considering this piece but want to confirm its the same height as the stock lip. Those who have can you take a tape measure and let me know the exact height of the lip ( as measured from top to bottom of the lip) at the center as well as at the sides
Thanks

From Suncoast's description of the Turbo 997 Aerokit:
Note: reduces ground clearance and maximum approach angle on gradients.

I recently ordered the aero lip for my 997.2 from suncoast. It's in the shop getting painted, and the rear lower valence (wasn't an option when I ordered my car). Getting them put on next week, so if you can wait until then, I can measure and take pics.

All joking aside first I'm going to see how my stock lip holds up since I installed the GMG springs. I think the black stock lip on meteor gray looks ok so I'm in no rush, especially if it scrapes a lot more with the lowered ride height
If I do get a new lip I'd like one that doesn't sit any lower than stock. And honestly I'm not 100% sold on the OEM aero splitter, not sure it's that different from my stock front lip
What other option do you like that are stock height??

Did you see VIDs post on the mesh grilles at the 6? I did like that carbon lip there. And its not as low as the stock black plastic bit...
Hmmmmmm... opportunities are endless.

This is the same lip I have, it's robust and does not sit too low. Art I would PM VID997 he has a new one in a box maybe he will give you a deal for his and you can have the crack refinished, from what I hear you have a shop that is familiar with fixing carbon pieces. Well this would be a real carbon piece

Ask and you shall receive....
I just measured my Aerokit lip (took it off after I lowered my turbo, wanted to see how liveable lowering it about an inch would be). Since I've lowered it, I've scraped the OEM lip plenty.
I don't have my turbo right now, so I wasn't able to get mearsurements for a OEM stock lip. Remember the Aerokit lip does stick out just slightly.
Aerokit front lip
At the side: Just a tick over 2.5"
At the front: about 2.25"

Modified, Thanks or all the pics!
I just measured my stock lip and it is 2 3/8" height in the front, so just an 1/8" difference vs the aero lip
