Lol, you are correct, typo should have read "recommend for Porsche"

The offsets I used were recommended by BC Racing

I believe the rubbing is a combination from the lowered car, ET35 as Denis pointed out, and the bridgestones, which are a fat tire apparently.
I am just about to order a set of 15mm spacers, so that 1 mm should do the trick. I have driven the car maybe 500 miles since Paul was here last October, so havent gotten around to sorting it. I have been so tempted to change wheels, that is why I am postponing investing in spacers.

I think you have a slight error in your calculation Denis, the 11.5 wheel on ET44 would mean you are out 13mm from stock. I am out 16mm. But Art has ET40 on 11.5, which means he is out 17mm from stock, and that could mean trouble with H&Rs. So apparently the increased ride height of the GMGs is what saves the day.

What are the specs of your wheels Denis? 12in wide, ET?

Nick, to clarify :

Art has ET40 on 11" (not 11.5) : not touching with Eibach (or H&R for that matter)
I have ET45 on 12" : not touching with any spring.
Paul has ET44 on 11.5 : not touching with any spring.

Hope this helps.

I need help to understand something.
I realize that the 11.5 ET44 is 13mm out from factory.
But 12 ET45 is 19mm out from factory and 7mm closer to the inside strut. Since I am rubbing with the 11in ET35 16mm out from factory why would you not at 19mm? The lowered tire due to the extra width?

Looks amazing. Ride height looks perfect. How long did it take to install the springs?

Your feedback on the springs is a 100% match to my thoughts on the H&R I installed a few months ago. But the front lip is now completely disposable. Still holding on to my first one, but its beginning to look like crap. Oh well.[/QUOTE]

Just buy them in "six packs" like I do Nick..

Nick I will have to get the exact wheel weights for you, but in the mean time here are the same exact wheels but in a set of 20s (mine are same dimensions as stock so should be a little lighter)

Weight information (lbs)- HB 29

20x9.0 ET20

20x11 ET25

They are a little lighter than stock

hope this helps

About what you said......still trying to figure out the $800-$1000 I've been quoted for putting springs on.
