Default Ok so heres my dilemma...opinons??

Right now im considering these 2 cars.

Car 1
Love it for the low mileage which is really important to me
Would have to change center console (pcm and AC unit) and air vents.
Dont like the soft look leather seats
Red seat belts (like)
Would have to have window tint removed cause I hate it
Would have to change the wheels
suspension has been lowered with different springs
Could drive it home from Miami
Would allow a pre purchase inspection
Total cost $77k no state sales tax.

Car 2
Double the mileage (dont like)
Sport seats with red backs (love)
Red Seat belts
Round center steering wheel which I really like
Other phots sent via email interior and exterior were flawless
Stock wheels which I like
Would have to pay state tax and most likely have it shipped here, too far to drive
Would allow a pre purchase inspection
Total cost $77k

I think too much stuff to change on the first car. Buy the second, add red seatbelts and dont think about mileage. 22k is like new! Would still drive it home. Only live once... :-)))) ROAD TRIP ROAD TRIP!

It's very humorous that you think that 22,000 miles is a "high mileage car". I have 61 k on mine and its still like new.

I like the second one..

22k miles is nothing....It looks like it is very well cared for..Good luck! I have only seen one red Turbo where I live.. I think they look awesome...

Here are some carfax things that sort of scared me, should I call the dealer who did the work and see what the deal was??? Or run for my life??
The engine had been removed at one point and the battery changed twice in 3 years.

Like car #2 but would negotiate the price down because of the mileage...I think the car is low 70's!

What makes you think a car with all those options with 22K miles is worth 70?

#2 has had paintwork on one of the front fenders. I inquired about that car when it first hit the market.

The 2nd car gets my vote. If you thinking of buying a a car that has you making a list of 5 to 6 things that you would have to change -- and not minor easy to change things either --
to get the car to suit you the car is not the right car to buy.

I note the work/repairs on the 2nd car occurred around 5K miles back. That's good number of miles to have things shaken out. But you really should give the car a good test drive or have someone do it for you.

If at all possible you should fly to the car, drive it, and if you like it buy it and drive it home.

The left front fender? After I read your post I went to the link and noted the car is only shown from the right side. No left side shots at all. Suspicious.

Very suspicious.

If red is your only option i found this one in LA on consignment at a ferrari shop called fastcarsltd. I had my fiance check it out in person and apparently it was very clean and well-optioned with no paintwork. Nice add-ons too.

The seller was pretty open about it. Didnt really seem like he was trying to hide anything. He just didnt know how it happened....or so he says.
