Default Beautiful 08 TT

Found this on Autotrader yesterday. Awesome car but way over priced. Dealer thiks he's going to recover options and mods costs. Love the wheels with the white.. And the interior is exceptional.. Sea blue is very rare..

I inquired about the "RUF" badge on the decklid. Still waiting to hear back from the dealer. As you can see there in no mention of "RUF" in the cars description..That's a bit suspicious. What do you gentlemen think would be a reasoanble price for this car?

Me likee very much......As you know I LOVE white TT's...

Very nice ! Just the car for you I would think.
If you could get it for around $80k it would be a good deal for both seller and buyer.

Nice looking car. Front end is nice. Wheels look great with it, too. Agree that it is overpriced. But there may be some RUF goodies that you'll define as worth the $.

There is a very nice red/tan 08 turbo cab 6-speed for sale at Carmax for $80K with 10K miles. Looks like it has a lot of cosmetic options too.

Thanks 4ocious but I need a coupe and it has to be white...Thanks for the tip though!

I think that car is priced low because of the color combination. That's not going to appeal to lot of people....

Phillip! You need to stop looking, you are standing too close to the cliff. All you need is a breeze!!

Car is gorgeous, but the price is soooooo out of line. Unless there is something exceptional about it that is not in the description. Keep us updated.
I bought my TT just over a month ago with lots of options, tune, exhaust, etc. for so much less. And I'm in Canada where these cats typically sell for more.

Looks like a nice car to me. Price isn't everything in this world- what's $10k? If you like it- etc looks pretty awesome imo. saw a white turbo tonight with the aero pkg- had hre wheels with white accents. Very sharp- I think this car looks good- low miles - I like the seat backs painted and the interior color.

GL & Cheers-

Looks great Phiilip. My C2S was Sea Blue over Arctic Silver and I loved it. The blue is very subtle and a nice dark contrast to the lighter color. And this one has some nice exhaust options that you won't have to add on later - which is probably a negotiation advantage to you as many buyers won't want that, at least until they buy it and discover the paltry sound of the OEM exhaust.

It also looks nicely optioned with the Sport Seats, the crest in headrest, the white stitching, and the oh-so-sexy-when-they-work illuminated SS door sills.

It's an 08 so it will be 10K more than an 07, even though the miliage is not super low. So what. Somebody loved it and drove it. That being said, it is priced Canadian which is 10% higher than USA pricing. So a reasonable price to offer would be mid 80’s some where.

As for the RUF badging, I can't image that somebody would put that on whiteout some degree of RUF compendents in it. The dealer may not have a clue as to what this is. Again, advantage you.

The wheels? Love 'em.

I would seriously consider this car. It's got flash. Have you had your first date with it yet? Let the courtship begin...

Joel

That is SWEET with a capital S!....has to have RUF goodies or the guy that painted that on is quite a poser...and I doubt that. The interior looks black from the photos but I guess its not.
Good luck....

There doesn't appear to be anything RUF about the car other than a few too many badges. It does not have a RUF exhaust, nor any mention of clutch upgrade or turbos. The badges can be purchased from Ruf auto online. The mods appear to be standard OTC type mods, nice but nothing special. What you can do is send the VIN to RUF in Germany, they keep records on all conversions. All conversions will have a letter of authenticity and a signed conversion sticker either under the boot or on the door jam. It looks like a really well optioned and modded car, no need for the wannabe badges IMO.

Great looking car. With the present mods $80-85 would be a great price to have this car and drive her home. Question the dealer. Get your PPI . Inquire about additional warranty. Run the car fax and you're set to go.
