Now we're talking
That is one beautiful car !!!

Last question so we know it all. MY and Mileage ?

The picture thingy is limited for users. As a member you can post as many as you like. Not agreeing with it, just explaining. Easy solution is uploading pictures to photobucket or other picture hosting site and link them here. It's as easy.

@Macster, no offence but sometimes your posts confuse me. Did you miss the part that the OP just got a car (super nice 997TT) and the accident car has a lot of other hidden issues ?

If I were you I would start a new thread. That car deserves its own proper thread

Have to say, lately there are some super nice and special turbo's joining. And this one is no exception. The options on that car are very impressive.

Yes Stratos58 - theres a couple of incomplete items here! Model year, mileage, and importantly, the story of your hunt. The latter is like a native -American right of passage. We're hurtin' for details man!

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. Its a 2007 with 19,000 miles. I wanted a high milage car to use and came across this one on ebay. Most cars are out west but this dealer is here in NJ. I went to see and and.... Its beautiful so I could not resist. I traded by 993TT which I also loved. I just could not have both. Oh well I only have a 1 car garage anyway.
here is a pic of the car i traded

but you're going to love the 997. btw 19k miles is hardly high mileage IMO, especially for a 5 year old car. 50k-60k miles would be more in the realm of high miles.

how was your experience on the drive home? what were the first few immediate differences you noticed between your 993 and the 997 TT?

My first impression was the car is more refined, quite, smooth, lots of technology and more powerful. Its better in every way..I would hope so because Porsche should not be going backwards...The 993 might be better looking but thats subjective. The 993 has bottomed as far as depreciation....I dont think I can say that about the 997.

You know dude, you might have traded in the 993 envy of many etc... but you SCORED a very tastefully optioned one-of-a kind super car that I bet the guy who sold it IS regretting. There are a few rare cars that have a magical combination of materials and colors and you have one - one that is easily on par, and in my opinion better, than your 993. Very well done on your move. Now go and drive it like you stole it!
