could be a nice upgrade for a tt997? entertaining offers on this...headers, cats, turbo back tips everything from my 08' gt2. im guessin it would fit a 997.1tt? i do believe its made of Ti. pm if ur interested.

grin, that would be akrapovic it looks like the tips and the center muffler is stamped akrapovic.

Go for it Phillip, if I wouldn't have just bought the fantastic Europipe and not live on the the other side of the globe I would be all over it.

Btw, Is there any difference between Turbo and GT2 headers ?

Unfortunetly I had to say no to Matt and his awesome exhaust. I talked to my guys and I would have to get the GT2 bumperskin (and all the trim and accessories) to make it work. The exhaust exits are totally different. It would easily be about a $3500 project. It doesn't seem sensible to me..


I would have bought it in a second if I could make it work.. Oh well. I'm sure he won't have a hard time selling it..

I'll ask my tuner about the difference between the 997 and the GT2 headers..

That's not worth it. Agree. I thought (reading the sellers remark) that it would fit a 997.1 turbo.

I just spoke to Todd at Protomotive. The 997-1 and 2008 Gt2 headers are identical. So that clears that up....

sellers remarks were "could be" with a ? cause i was not sure of the fitment as i couldnt get a def answer before posting this, and i have never tried the install. phillipj did some research and got the answer. he was very nice and helpful and i wish this could have worked for him, but i will take his word for it and dont blame him or anyone else for passing on it, i prob. would have passed also if i were in his shoes. i would love to put it on a tt and see what the diff is, if its a height or a width issue. or maybe just a totally diff design. glad a good member like phillipj could clear this up for me and everyone else. thx again phillip!
