i think you mistook my comment, i had the GTR but sold it.. it lacks soul but very fast.. i think with the new owners tune it would however be a lot more fun...
as far as oem tune, i'm sure the flash people save your original tune.. but if i was stranded with a blown engine, would be hard to flash back and i'm sure the vehicles "black box" would report something.

I remember when i had the Viper i had an extended warranty and i changed the black box and i tune the car (i saved the original black box with the original map)
I'm not sure if we can do the same with the 997TT but i'm very interested because my car has a CPO Warranty for 2 years too

just sold my 10' GTR, and i used to call it my "altima Coupe"
the car is wicked fast but just lacks soul, the new owner added tuning and has it at 700hp now (10 days after i sold it).. kinda jealous because i would love to see what it feels like.
also curious about the tune on 997TT.. am debating a CPO 08' but i feel the CPO part is useless if i tune the car.... i assume IF something went wrong they could discover the tune and thats bad news..
the tune seems very aggressive to add 80hp... maybe too agressive?

Their warranty went a LONG way in ensuring the quality of their parts, program, and service to me.
