Enjoy our MTs while we can. The vast majority of new 911's are PDKs. Ferrari has completely stopped producing MTs. Sad but true. I love them. Even in rush hour traffic (rare for me) I would be bored out of my tree with a PDK. After driving rental cars I love coming home to my MT. Good news is that there is still lots of inventory out there to enjoy.

I feel they are both amazing in their own way and I can see why some who love sawing away at the manual might miss that if they had an automatic.

That red Turbo is absolutely stunning.... Awesome car.. Congrats on being blessed with 2 TT's!!!!!

Stick here and love it. Even on the track I love it. I've driven the PDK in a Panamera for about a week and after 3-4 days, the coolness was wearing off and I missed my 6 peed!

I tried robot once - I was bored beyond belief.
I hear you. I took my Porsche in for servicing about two months ago and I was given a 997 with PDK as my loaner. For the first five minutes, I realy loved it. For the next 5 minutes it was OK, and after 15 mins I was completely bored.

^ This is very much how I found it as well. PDK was just a short lived novelty that resulted in automatic being selected 99% of the driving time. I experienced this again only just the other weekend where i was given a new Boxster S PDK to spend some drive time in. I did ponder the thought of the practicality and so forth and tried hard to imagine living with it for a few years but....nope can't see it happening just yet....

Yep I did regret it! Before my 6 speed Turbo I had a C4S tiptronic that I drove more then my turbo just because of the 6 speed manual is a pain to drive in traffic. As a matter of fact I just ordered a new 991 with PDK in exchange for my Turbo so that I can do more everyday driving.

Go with the PDK.I agree,my 2011 Turbo S is sickkkkkk fast.I have a Viper and a ZR1 and the TTS is much, much faster and easier to drive. It is like the perfect racing trans in a street car.

11.03 @130 mph in the quarter (With out L/C) 10.70 s with.( Stock).....

That is really fast for a street car.About 7 or 8 cars a head of my other cars..
