With you on that one Paul

Somewhere in this thread you mentioned 'vanity can have its price'. ET56 front and ET35 rear comes at a price. The price is understeer at speed with a high risk of snap-oversteer at the limit. If one is not into aggressive driving than I would not worry about it though. But if at all possible the factory balance between front and rear ET should be preserved. If I may add, we should focus less on 'how much wider is the outer edge of the wheel' but more on 'how much is the ET away from stock'

Today I installed the wheels on the right side of the car. Left side tomorrow unless someone wants side by side shots of OEM and BBS wheels off the car.

Some pics, as you can see the result is spectacular, at least in my opinion
Should be even more so after car is lowered 20mm.
I'll post some beauty shots in my own thread once the car is finished.

Promise to post some nice pictures once I have made them. This thread turned out to be rather technical and wanted to show how they fit.
Showing of the wheels on the car I'll do in my own thread.
I have this one, not the best picture but more to come soon.

Seems nobody cares anymore but I got some weights.

All wheels ready to go on car with caps, sensors, balancing weights, etc.

OE front 8.5x19 et56 with Bridgestone RE050A 30% wear : 21 kg
BBS front 9x19 et53 with same tire new : 22.2 kg
OE rear 11x19 et51 with Bridgestone RE050A 60% wear : 27.2 kg
BBS rear 12x19 et45 with same tire new : 27.2 kg

So front is heavier but not too bad taken the new tire into account.
Back is very good as weight is same with a 12" wheel and new tire.
If the last ounce/gram counts I would advice to use the 8.5 BBS up front.

Denis..They look awesome! Will look even better when the car is lowered.. Thank you for posting the actual weights of the wheels and tires. 1 kg more one the fronts is not bad... Especially for that price.. The "fit" looks perfect.. Nice not to have to use spacers..

Those would look fantastic on my car.. My wife would have a "hissy fit" if I buy them now.. She still gives me a hard time about the 20's with Pirellis from my Carrera sitting in my garage that I cant sell

Your car is absolutely gorgeous..And the new shoes are sweet!!!!!

I like my OEM wheels, have not found anything aftermarket that gets my attention.

The offset looks very similar to my HRE P40's. I bit more aggressive than OEM. Tastefully done, looks great.

Thanks Phillip, indeed weight penalty up front is nothing. More than compensated with my PCCB's.
And I am sure the 8.5 would be very close to the stock wheel weight anyway.
But (my)vanity dictated a 9, just love the way the tire sits on the wheel

Keep looking !
But if the originals work for you than even better, safes you money.
I like the design but do not like the 11" ET51, too narrow for the 305 and too much inside imo.

You too ?? Yes, I have an appointment with Stef on 16/7 (I think). He will do my install. The hand of the master from A to Z.
His shop is only 45min from me. It's my next big mod.

Nice work Denis and thanks for posting the weight findings, very informative.
The setup of the car will change dramatically with the lowering springs, as the wheels will tuck more inside the fenders, and a more aggressive alignment will also affect the look. Please keep us posted with the result!
If I eventually do do this, as it seems like a good deal, I will electroplate the silver ring in either tint smoked color, or gloss black... hmmmm...
